Cukang Taneuh

Green Canyon Pangandaran, often called as Cukang Taneuh by local people, located in Kertayasa Village, Pangandaran Regency, West Java.

Green Canyon is a tourism object created by nature. A river with 3 km length that divide a green valley in the middle of it, Green Canyon is a perfect place if you wanted to release your stress with beautiful stalactites rocks in the right and left of the river it self is an amazing view to watch.

If you want to go there you must down the river Cijulang with boat that called Ketinting Boat. This boat only capable of carrying passengers five people. When you on the boat you will see an extraordinary view that can amazed you. On the side of the river flow Cijulang you can enjoy a cliff hills overgrown with lush green trees and rocks that decorate it. The journey will not be boring because of the beautiful scenery and relaxed enjoying the river flow.

Body Rafting

Body Rafting is activity in the wild along the stream and our adrenaline challenge. Body rafting in Green Canyon reached within 2 to 3 hours. For those who can not swim are provided buoys and reliable guide. Rapids we passed many kinds. body rafting train our body maintain balance in the water. Follows the flow stream that flows allows us to enjoy the beauty, coolness of the water.

Green Canyon Cave

There is a tunnel resembles a cave known as Green Canyon Cave. You can enjoy a solid side of the cave to see stalactites and stalagmites are still dripping ( stalactites and stalagmites is include in the types rock drops ). Water continuously issued in cliffs so the area is called the eternal rain area. You can also swim in the cave by using the float. You will feel the water is cool and refreshing. More beautiful scenery while watching the waterfall Palatar found in the Green Canyon Cave.

If you are interested in visiting this place is best visited in the dry season because in this season, the color of the river water is green tosca. While in the rainy season, when high rainfall, river water will be brown. In addition, the rainy season is likely to be pairs or if it is too heavy then this place is closed to the public for the safety of visitors.

There is a hotel near Green Canyon. JavaCove Beach Hotel is located in the relaxed coastal village of Batu Karas on the South coast of West Java, 35 klm from the popular domestic tourism beaches of Pangandaran.
